South Park- Facebook

I have to admit. I am an avid Facebook and Blog stalker. I know its very pathetic, Derek actually thinks its a sickness. But I just can't help it. I get so bored at work sometimes that facebook and peoples blogs are the only thing that keeps me entertained before I start in on bugging my mom. But there is ONE.... MAJOR.... PROBLEM. People do not update enough!! Its very hard to stalk someones blog when they only update once in a blue moon. Haha its pathetic but I look at writing about it as kind of my, thearapy, if you will.

This is why my roommate, Lindsee, and I have resorted to blog-stalking Heather Armstrong. Also known as Dooce. She is FREAKING hillarious. I understand a lot of people might get offended by her crude/bash on mormons way of writing, but she means well. Mostly you just have to get used to how she writes. She uses sarcasim frequently and if you don't get her jokes then you will not think she is funny. But she is really worth reading. She blogs almost once a day, which makes stalking heaven for us. She even has books. My roommate and I discovered Heather Armstrong through some ladies at my work that read her every once in a while. As I got looking into it, I found out that she has written some books. Lindsee, being the amazing friend she is, got me one of her books for my birthday. "It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I Had a Baby, a Breakdown and a Much Needed Margarita." It was one of the funniest books I've ever read (but nothing beats out Chelsey Handler: My Horizontal Life). Anyway- If you are interested in stalking Dooce her website is http://www.dooce.com and she has the CUTEST dog ever, Chuck. Chloe and him will be friends one day.

Well Derek always makes fun of me and Lindsee for stalking in any way we can. And I've come to realize that we are not the only ones that do it. Almost everyone that has a facebook has an obsession with it. :) It makes me feel a lot better about myself. Lindsee and I decided that we are going to start up a "Facebook Annonomous" club. We would be rich after. Well anyway- all this facebook talk just reminded me of Southpark. Now I NEVER watch that show, I actually really hate it, but I have to admit that this was probably the funniest episode I've ever seen.

Derek was laying on my couch watching TV the other night and started laughing his head off. He made me come sit down and watch this facebook episode with him. Although I totally acted like they weren't right about anything, they were right about EVERYTHING. If you can look past the crudeness and the swearing in southpark you should for sure watch this episode if you have a facebook-salking obsession. Funniest part about the clip I'm going to post is that I made Derek change his relationship status and he says its because that made it 'official'. But just so everyone knows, facebook makes EVERYTHING official ;) Ha, much love!
